How to Install recode software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

recode software package provides Character set conversion utility, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install recode

recode is installed in your system.

Make ensure the recode package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep recode *

You will get with recode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
